HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
Unbelievably, I haven’t posted anything on this blog since June 2022. I’ve no clear explanation for that except that my life was full in other ways and that urge to write wasn’t there. However, the itch to write has returned and I’ve decided to move my writing to the more popular platform Substack for a couple of reasons:
- Substack offers more room for community interaction and discussion. I follow a number of writers there and it is a great way to follow folks and stay updated on your schedule.
- Those of you who signed up for THIS blog may or may not be interested in my writing anymore, so I want to “re-launch” my writing with clear expectations about potential content. Short version, I’ve become much more political in recent years and so I want you to subscribe knowing that may be part of the content, along with my usual discussion of faith, family, being brave and assorted other nonsense.
- I’m SIXTY years old now unbelievably and I like to honor new decades by being a beginner again. So I’ve decided to kick off the year with something NEW!
