How do you know you made the right decision to darken the color of your hair?
When you ask your soon to be 13 year old what she thinks of your new hair color and she says “Your hair looks pretty good, Mom, but I miss your exciting Gwen Stefani look!”
Oh my! Out of the mouths of babes…
Oh Kelly! I sometimes wonder if when I have kids they will have an identity crisis because of me and my ever-changing hair colors.
They’ll wait for their pink haired mom to pick them up only for blue haired mom to show up at school and run screaming from me (that’s not my mommy!!!).
Perhaps I should start keeping it one color now to get prepared…I have had it black now for almost 3 weeks!
🙂
Emily, you will be the coolest mom in town with your blue/pink/ “insert interesting color here” hair. I do have one child, however, who gets nervous anytime I change anything…she got upset once when I changed the color of my eyeshadow! So, there is that possibility of emotional scarring from constant change, I suppose 🙂 Black for 3 weeks…what is going on with that?? Miss you, girl!
