Um yeah, but first can you please answer one question: What the heck is a Launch Team?
I am SO glad you asked!! Launch teams are my favorite!
A Launch Team is a group of people who want to support an author and help launch a book baby out into the world. Launch Team members build excitement before release by sharing about the book with their circle of influence through social media, word of mouth and other avenues. And most importantly, they also boost sales once the book is released by writing book reviews on Amazon and other sites.
Bottom line, you get an advance reader copy of the book, you talk about your experience of reading it with the author and other launch team members in a private Facebook group, you fall deeply in love with the book like it was your own baby being born, and then relentlessly and obnoxiously tell everyone you know to go buy it!
If you know how to read, type AND you are willing and able to use social media, you are qualified to be on a launch team. Trust me, launch teams are the most fun, ESPECIALLY when we get to talk about BEING BRAVE!
So, do you want to join MY launch team?
Here’s the deal: I begged and pleaded with my publisher to send my Being Brave launch team members real, live actual books to hold in your hands. These books are seriously beautiful and sized perfectly to be a stocking stuffer this Christmas. I am dying to see your gorgeous selfies holding the book in your hands all over social media! The publisher said YES, because they are lovely and generous, but printing books costs money, so we only get a limited number. If you are interested and prefer real books over electronic, please know that only the first 75 who apply get a hard copy. Everyone else chosen will get a PDF copy. Because this is a 40 day devotional, I am excited to read through it together and hear what you think about the questions. I’ve hired a professional virtual assistant, Kaitlyn, and I can’t wait for you to meet her. She will keep us organized and give us jobs to do 5 days a week, because she is super smart and has lots of great experience with launching books. She is currently working hard to get us ready: I’ve already learned so much from her!
So here is the schedule:
- Launch Team application open for 3 weeks; today through October 9th.
- Your book arrives in the mail or in your email inbox the week of October 16th.
- Welcome emails go out October 23rd with instructions on how to join the FB group.
- Private Being Brave Launch Team FB Group kicks off October 23rd.
- Being Brave release date December 19th!
